Trek up to Lama Dugh to Manali

Start from The Tranquil Inn by transport and get dropped at the starting point of Lamadugh Trek. You must have sports shoes with good grip. We shall provide you with rain coats, walking sticks and backpacks.

Accessible from hotels in Manali through Manali sanctuary, Lama Dugh is also the first stop of the Dharamsala trek. With an altitude of a whopping 3170 metres above sea level, Lama dugh is a pleasant climb uphill, amid the thick vegetation of oak, fir and deodar. The green expanse of this climb makes it one of the most sought after pastoral lands for shepherds and cattle herds. Lama Dugh trek is an enjoyable five hour trek, wherein you will find yourself stopping multiple times to get a grab at the wild cherry trees. Soak in the scenic beauty and head back to the hotel by 6 p.m.

Enjoy a spellbinding view of the Manalsu glacier, the Dhauladhar and the Pirpanjal ranges, including Hanuman Tibba, Deo Tibba and Rohtang Pass en route to the peak of your climb. You will receive packed lunch from the hotel while setting off in the morning. However, one may stop for some quick bites on the way back from the Manali Lama Dugh trek for eateries along the trail of the trek.
