Hotel to Jogini Waterfall in Manali

Named after the protector goddess of Vashist village Jogini Devi, this place is of great spiritual importance to the locals here. ‘Joginis’ are believed to be the unwed daughters of Lord Indra. During the month of Baisakh, the locals bring their children to this deity to conduct their first tonsures. Other religious celebrations to venerate Jogini devi (otherwise known as ‘Mahamaya Devi’ or “goddess of great illusions”) to the deity include occasional offerings of cooking and performance of other rituals.

Start from The Tranquil Inn with a guide and packed lunch, go downhill and you will reach the Vashisht village which is believed to be protected by the goddess herself. The Manali to Jogini waterfall trek is a three kilometre climb from the temple, taking roughly half an hour to reach the base of the Jogini waterfall. The Jogini temple is located at the base of this fall.

Various hotels in Manali line the trekking route to aid the exhausted travellers.

Finally, cross the Vyas River to reach your destination. Enjoy quality time with your friends and family and then return to hotel before nightfall.
